Great Mercy Outreach Ministry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an extension of Prayer Nest Ministries, rooted in the belief that every person deserves love, dignity, and opportunity. Inspired by Luke 6:36 — “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful” — our mission is to demonstrate the love and mercy of God through holistic programs that uplift individuals, strengthen families, and restore hope in underserved communities.

We address pressing social challenges—such as food insecurity, youth vulnerability, economic instability, and gender inequity—through five core initiatives:

🌾 Food Distribution

In partnership with Feed America First and OneGenAway, we provide weekly food boxes to ensure no one in our community goes hungry. Our pantry serves hundreds of families, offering both nourishment and dignity.

👧🏾 Youth Mentorship & Leadership

We guide young people through structured mentorship, life skills training, and leadership development. Our programs address critical issues like substance abuse, trauma, and academic disengagement—empowering youth to become resilient, purpose-driven leaders.

💼 Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship

We equip adults with financial education, credit-building strategies, and small business support. Our goal is to foster long-term economic stability and generational wealth within marginalized communities.

👩‍👧 Women’s Empowerment

We believe in the power of women to transform families and communities. Through childcare assistance, leadership development, job readiness, and mentorship, we help women rise into their full potential and become agents of change.
